Family Camps
For our guests at the Country Cottage, we organize overnight family camps in the forest or close to the rivers.
Fishing Holidays
The Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh has some excellent Trout waters in the Uhl, Thirthan, and Sainj rivers, or Mahseer fishing pools and runs in the river Beas. You may reserve your fishing tours in advance, with your base at the Country Cottage.
Paragliding In The Dhauladhars
Forty-four Km from the Country Cottage is Bir at an altitude of 8500 ft. This site was discovered as an ideal location for holding of International Hang Gliding and Paragliding by Mr. Navin Sarin in 1983. Regular paragliding competitions are held in which participants converge from all over the world to make it a colourful event. You can take off along with the experienced Paragliding pilots and share the experience.
Trekking
The Mountains and the hills of the Dhauladhar range, overlooking the Country Cottage provide some extremely interesting and beautiful treks. We make all arrangements for your trekking holiday. (We recommend that you carry your own sleeping bag.)
